Water Regulations (Pre-requisite of QCF Aligned Assessments).

This is a comprehensive one day course suitable for installation and servicing companies.

About this Course

This course covers the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 (England and Wales) and the Water Byelaws 2004 (Scotland) and meets the requirements of WRAS (the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) of which the majority of the UK water companies are members.

Course Content

This very comprehensive course starts with training split into 12 modules followed by the completion of three assessments. There are no practical elements – all training is theoretical. Candidates must successfully pass all three assessments to gain the WRAS/BPEC Water Regulations/Byelaws certificate.



Energy Efficiency (Pre-requisite of QCF Aligned Assessments).

About this Course

The Energy Efficiency qualification has been developed in order to offer an easily administered alternative to the City & Guilds 6084 Energy Efficiency course.

Course Content

The content and focus of both the training and assessment have been made appropriate to the requirements of plumbers and gas engineers whilst still aiming to satisfy the requirements for compliance with Approved Document L1.



Vented And Unvented Domestic Hot Water (Pre-requisite of QCF Aligned Assessments).

This course aims to help plumbers and heating engineers who want to install vented and unvented domestic hot water storage systems to comply with the appropriate Building Regulations and standards.

About this Course

This very comprehensive course starts with intensive training in four modules, followed by the completion of three assessments including one practical. Candidates must successfully pass all three assessments to gain the BPEC Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems certificate.

Course Content

This course consists of four modules: vented and unvented systems and their operating principles, design and installation, maintenance and compliance with other Building Regulations.
